Getting Around Antalya

From the Airport

Transport. From Antalya Airport (AYT) you can take the Havaş Airport Shuttle (bus line 600) directly to the city centre (Muratpaşa/Kaleiçi); the ride takes about 30‑40 minutes and costs roughly 15 TRY. A regular city bus (line 800) also runs to the main bus station for a similar price. Uber does not operate in Turkey, but local rides‑hailing apps such as BiTaksi or the official iTaksi are available at the airport, and taxis are plentiful with a metered fare of around 4‑5 TRY for the first kilometre.

Once You're There

Transport. Inside Antalya the modern AntRay tram network (lines T1 and T2) connects the historic Kaleiçi, the waterfront and the airport, making it a convenient option for short trips; city buses supplement coverage across the suburbs. The old town is very walkable, while longer trips are usually taken by BiTaksi/iTaksi or a regular taxi. Renting a car is possible but many visitors find it unnecessary due to traffic, limited parking and the good public‑transport and rideshare options.
