Getting Around Nice

From the Airport

Transport. From Nice Côte d'Azur Airport you can take tram line 2 (the Côte d'Azur tram) directly into the city centre – about a 25‑minute ride to Place Garibaldi for roughly €1.50; the tram runs every 8‑10 minutes. Bus routes 98, 99, 100, 118 and 119 also connect the airport with various districts and the main train station. Uber operates in Nice, and the local taxi app G7 is widely used for airport pickups.

Once You're There

Transport. Nice’s public transport is centred on tram lines 1 and 2 plus an extensive bus network, which together cover the city centre, the Promenade des Anglais and nearby suburbs. The old town (Vieux‑Nice) is very walkable, so most sights are reachable on foot. For longer trips or late‑night travel many visitors use Uber or Bolt, while car‑rental is possible but generally not recommended due to traffic, limited parking and good public‑transport alternatives.
